Thanksgiving fun in Omaha

We spent almost a week in Omaha over Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time with family and friends. Nora had so much fun with her cousins. The pictures say a lot. Henry enjoyed meeting the Swarty's for the first time and seeing Nona again. It was a fabulous trip and look forward to going again in the near future.

Nora needed to be assured their was still room in her old crib for her.... Nora loves her little brother and Henry loves his big sister.

Nora hits the dentist office

Nora went to the dentist for the first time on November 15th. She went to our neighbor and friend, Dr. Sandy Houck. Nora did a fantastic job. She didn't shed a tear or refuse anything. She did however insist that I lay in the chair with her. Dr. Sandy and her hygienist, Katie did a terrific job of making Nora feel comfortable. Nora had a good report-you go girl!

Since Henry was born, I have thought he and Nora look a lot a like when Nora was his age etc. Some people agree and others don't... However, I think mothers do know best. Anyway, I have been dying to see if they would look even more alike if I put a bow in his hair. It is scary how much they resemble each other with the bow.... I realize Henry will not be happy with me when he sees these photos in his later years. The pictures will be good for a good laugh at his wedding or high school graduation though :)

Meeting Arden and Bev

Henry met Uncle Arden and Aunt Beverly on November 14th. We had a nice visit and was great to see them before the headed to AZ for the winter.

On Friday, November 12th, we went up to my Grandma's to introduce Henry to her and of course for a much needed visit. Nora was delighted to see her and asked a few awkward questions. Great Grandma was instantly in love with Henry and was so excited to see Nora. A few pictures are below.

7 week size photos

These pictures were taken on November 4th when our little guy was only 7 weeks old. I will be taking his 12 week photos this Thursday. Time has flown by. He is such a delight.
