Seriously, Jenny, I am not kidding

Nora did a lot of things for the first time this past week! She went to IKEA for the first time to make her Aunt Molly jealous. She also went there because her Nona has a deep adoration for IKEA.... Pete also likes to have an excuse to go there as IKEA makes me have anxiety attacks with all of the people that go there so he does not get to go there much (he can go, he just chooses not to).... Nora also went to MOA (Mall of America) with her Nona, Pete and me last week. Of course her first store was Nordstrom that she went into (smart girl). Nora also had to say adios to her Nona for the first time on Saturday. Both Nora and Nona were very sad but they are looking forward to seeing each other in May. Nora really loves her Nona and cannot wait for her to come back up here as Nora is her new favorite :)! Nora went to work for the first time with me on Wednesday. She loves being there. It was our dry run for when I go back to work.... It takes a long time getting 2 of us ready in the morning! Nora also went to her very first MN Twins game on Wednesday night with us and the Jiovanazzo's! Nora almost got hit twice by foul balls. Thank God Jenny and I are so alert and into the games that we took cover with Nora immediately. AND last night, Nora slept for 6 hours straight for the FIRST time and hopefully not the last time.

Nora enjoyed a BBQ at Missy and Mike Levy's on Saturday (speaking of firsts, it was Mike's first time BBQing and he did great). She was awake most of the time we were there! She slept pretty good that night! At Missy and Mike's, Jenny and Jeff gave me a really cool bottle of wine-NORA for my birthday. I cannot wait to try it. It is one of the nicest gifts I have received.

This week, Nora has learned how to drop her pacifier to her chin and pick it back up with her tongue. Of course, she usually spits it across the room so this is a real treat when she actually does her new trick.

I took some more "size" photos of Nora. The last time we took them was when she was 3.5 weeks and she is 7 weeks now! She really has grown a lot.

Once again, Nora has been a very busy girl! After Easter, she had the honor of meeting Nick Burroughs (Stacey and Phils' son) who was born 2 days before her.

During that same week, Nora had Jenny and Jeff Jiovanazzo over for dinner. While they were over, Nora somehow got a hold of Jenny's wedding ring and was wearing it! Jenny was a little worried that Jeff was going to let her keep it but luckily Nora gave it back! Nora is a threat to most women so beware!

Jacob & Leslie Swims also made a special trip to MN from Acworth, GA to meet Miss Nora. She really enjoyed meeting them. Nora went shopping with Leslie and me. She also made it out to dinner with 18 of us and stayed out later than a lot of the adults!

Nora's highlight of the past week and a half is/was meeting her Nona (Pete's mom) for the very first time! They both feel in love with each other immediately. Nona has been holding her as much as she can while she is here. She has been a big help to all of us and Nora really likes being with her! Nona even likes changing her poopy diapers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have gone shopping, to the doctors office, car wash... We have eaten lots! Judes even made me an ice cream pie for my birthday!

Nora also helped me celebrate my 31st birthday. It was a very special birthday with the best gift I could ever ask for, a healthy baby girl. Nona babysat Nora on Monday so Pete and I could go out for dinner to celebrate. We ate at Hazellewood then went to Jake O' Connors for a drink. On Wednesday night, my parents, sister, Joey, Judy (Nona), Pete, Nora and I went to dinner at Wildfire to celebrate.

Nora also had the honor of meeting Uncle Arden, Aunt Bev, her cousins, Vicki, Andrew & Brian and seeing her cousin David on Sunday. Alissa and my parents came over too to visit Nora, Judy, Pete and me!

Nora also met her friend Peyton Hansen and her parents Kirk and Missy! Peyton is going to be a big sister in August!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All in all it has been a great week. We look forward to many more get togethers.
