Halloween Festivites 2010

Halloween 2010 was a busy one. Nora wore her costume 5 times! The first excursion with the costume was to the Halloween party at the Chanhassen Rec Center. The Jiovanazzo's joined us and we all had a good time. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of Nora and Mirabella that turned out.... The next costume party was at dance. In lieu of leotards, the girls wore their costumes. Then on Thursday, Nora's school had a Halloween parade. On Saturday, Nora attended a Halloween party that a friend from school hosted. Lastly, we had a Halloween party at our house with the neighbors we typically go trick or treating with. We had some chili, hot dogs, brews, wine and juice boxes. A good time was had by all and we plan to keep the tradition going in the years to come. The pictures below are not in any specific order, just enjoy them!

Minnetonka Orchards

We took the kids to Minnetonka Orchards in October. It was our first time and it definitely was not our last. We took a hayride, checked out some animals, saw lots of apples and pumpkins and enjoyed the beautiful fall day.

Nora started swimming lessons at Foss about a month ago. She has learned more in her 4 or 5 sessions than she learned the entire time she had swim lessons at the other place... Nora can hold her breath under water for 15 seconds, float on her back for 10 seconds alone and swim with a noodle unassisted. We are so very proud of her. Nora really likes her teacher, Ms. Marie.
