Weekend at the lake

We had the lake home to ourselves! We had a marvelous time up at the lake this past weekend. It was just us and we so needed the family time. We had fun fishing, swimming, eating, boating and just laying around. We are lucky to have the weekend retreat in the family.

Catching any?

The pictures got out of order... Ugh. Nora passed out before we hit the end of our road on Sunday. She was tired.

The hood ornaments!

I wish I looked that good in a bikini

Catching Any?

Nora enjoys fishing! YEAH. Nora caught 2 fish this weekend and I caught 1. Pete... well, none. Pete actually probably caught all of the fish since he baited the lines etc. However, the fishing pole he was using didn't get a bite... The girls fishing poles did. So, did he catch 3 and the girls 0? It's up for debate.

Washing hands...

Nora loves to wash her hands! Pete bought her an outdoor sink toy.

C-Dog and James tie the knot

Congrats, to Chrissy and James Kelly on their recent marriage. We had a delightful time in Green Lake, WI celebrating the nuptials. Chrissy was a beautiful bride and James a handsome groom. They did the weekend up right in every aspect. The food, the company, the location...everything was perfect! I am so honored to have been her Matron of Honor. I am not sure she is so proud now after my wild times at the reception :)!

Saying "I do."

Checking out the darling hair

Nora was invited to the dinner and dance. Nora had the time of her life dancing. The videos are too large to upload to blogger but they are priceless. I will never forget it. She danced for 30 - 40 minutes with a circle of people around her.
