Bad Mommy, BAD! (for not posting)

I know. I know... I am a bad mom for not blogging. A lot has been going on. I am working full time and Pete is starting to pick up a bit more, which is great! We are juggling our schedules, 2 kids, Nora's activities, social calendar for all and keeping things in order at home. I am not complaining at all because we have a great life and wonderful kids.

Anyway, our little man is 5 months old today. I am not sure where the past 5 months have gone but they have come and gone quickly. Henry had his 4 month check up last month. He weighed in at 13 pounds 13 ounces. He was 24 1/2 inches long and his head is off the charts. We are hoping that he has a big brain just like his mom but... they are re-checking it again next week to see if we need to do any tests. He is such a great boy. He eats great, he smiles all of the time, he is very vocal (giggles and squeals especially at his sister), he sleeps like a champ (on an average night 10 hours straight), he has rolled over once (Feb 10th) for my sister and me but that is the one and only time. He had rice cereal shortly after he turned 4 months and loves it. We plan to give him some flavored food this week. Pete and I are constantly commenting on how sweet and good Henry is, we are truly blessed.

Nora will be 4 in less than a month.... I cannot believe she will be 4. Yes, I said 4~! Nora is a sweet little girl. She too is very vocal, her vocabulary is unbelievable. She tells me that she is irritated or annoyed in the correct context and often times she is irritated or annoyed with me :), she puts puzzles together all by herself (36-48 piece puzzles), she is working on tying her shoes, she is a great little dancer and performer, she loves to swim and does great at it, she enjoys singing to music and knows how to operate the I POD. She is getting better with her letters and writing her name etc. She also enjoys coloring a ton! Besides those things, she has a huge heart. She is so nice to people and especially is a sweet big sister. She tends to her brothers needs and helps us out a lot too. She will go into Henry's room and pull her stool up to the side of his crib just to sing, talk or read to him. She is one awesome little girl! Again, we are blessed. Henry and the neighbors doll
