Chloe and Hula Girl make the pictures!

Nora was baptized on Sunday! She did a great job. I will post pictures from that later this week. Here are a few pictures from last week and the beginning of the weekend with the Swarty's and seeing my Grandma!Chloe chilling out on our bed. She tends to find the most comfortable spot! Often times she will leave us a little Hershey kiss on our bed..... Lovely. Chloe is too sweet to get upset though.Hula Girl has the remote so she can change the channel to Animal Planet after we leave for the day. She also likes getting comfortable in bed! Nona & Nora at MOA!
Nona, I want to shop not sit here and get my picture taken!

Great Grandma Olson and Nora. Nora loved the snowmen on my Grandma's sweatshirt. Big Ronnie, Nora, G-Gma, and me.........

Nora splish splashing away.... Doesn't she look just so sweet? Ohhhh, I love her!
Nora trying to steal Pete's beer the other night. Nona telling Nora NO!
Our neighbor and friend, Sandy turned 50 on Friday. She and Terri Ellis aka Mrs. Ellis my 7th grade math teacher stopped by Friday night to say hello. Sandy had a bunch of women over cock tailing.... Anyway, she let Nora try on her lei....

I love to sit up like a big girl!

The Scarborough's sent Nora this outfit! We love it.

Sitting in her chair....

Clearly she needed to wear her shades in the house last night!
Big girl in her chair!

Making the beds!

Pete's family is coming to town this weekend for Nora's baptism! In order to get ready for their visit, I had to wash the sheets and make the beds for the lower level. Well, since Nora is a cat napper, I did not have time to make the beds etc. while she slept. So, I put her in the laundry basket with the sheets and carried her downstairs in the basket!

What is going on????
Nora is sitting up like a champ! I found this blanket in the linen closet downstairs and she chilled on it while I made beds.....

I forgot to bring a toy downstairs for her so I dug in one of the drawers and found an old bra of mine. She was totally happy to play with that since it has a tag on it.... Well, Hula like bras too and came and stole it from her--oh well!

Artist

I decided the other day that it would be fun to have Nora do some finger painting! She is quite the artist. I pulled a smart move by not taping the paper down to the counter... Other than that, we had fun making a mess for our cleaning lady, Jan who is at our house today!

HMMMM green slimy stuff!
This is interesting

This looks good enough to eat

Blue...

I am gonna put this in my mouth... (she almost got it in her mouth)

Let me crumple this one up!
Her work is below. The Louve called to order some of her work.

Nora thought it was funny to see me standing on the counter top

Nora and the green bottle

So, Nora loves this green bottle mixture. I picked her up from school the other day and she was playing with a water bottle filled with water, oil and green coloring.... She did not want to put the thing down. When we got home, little miss domesticated mommy made her one. It is her new favorite toy and teether!

Jump N Go

Nora loves this thing. She didn't like it a couple of months ago but now she goes nuts in it! I will post a video of her in it later this week! Nora would not go to sleep on Sunday night. After about an hour of rocking her etc. I said heck with it.... we are putting her in the jump n go. Great idea, she went crazy for about 20 minutes then looked at me and yawned and went right to bed! She has rhythm in this thing--it is great!

Sick Chick(s).....

Nora and I have been sick for about the past month. We both started off with colds. On Tuesday of last week I brought Nora to the doctor as the cold had lasted too long! Well, she had an ear infection--her first one.... She was put on the tasty amoxicillian (I loved that stuff as a kid). On Thursday, I was not feeling well at all. I decided to go home around lunch time to sleep since Nora was at daycare and Pete at a project. The minute I pulled into our driveway, one of her teachers called. Of course my heart stopped as I thought something horrible happened. Thankfully, she called to say that Nora was out of sorts and was running a low fever...... I went to get her from school. My dad came to the rescue! He came over for a while so I could get some sleep. While he was there, Nora slept for 2 hours! Yes, a miracle happened, Nora Elizabeth took longer than a 30 minute nap! On Friday, Nora was a pooping machine. She has never pooped as much as she did on Friday. On Saturday, she woke up and was still a pooping machine... L-O-N-G story short, after the 2nd phone call to the doctors office, I brought her in as she had a 101.5 temp.... Wouldn't you know it, the tasty pink amoxicillian wasn't working, she now has a double ear infection. They changed her meds and by Sunday Nora was back to her usual self. I took myself to the doctor this morning and I now have meds too! Hopefully I am back to normal (well as normal as I can be) by this weekend for all of the Swartzbaugh's!
