We went on our first trip to the zoo on Saturday. They have the Farm Babies on exhibit there right now. The zoo does a heck of a job marketing the exhibit... I think their marketing plan is better than their exhibit. However, we had a great time. It was just a little too cold out with the lovely winds that were blowing through town that day. We didn't get a ton of great photos but we have a few to showcase to you all. Nora was/is battling an ear infection. She enjoyed looking at the animals but was afraid to touch any of them. She tapped a piglets nose at that is it. OH well, she is only 1! On the walking front, Nora walks quite a bit now. It is on her terms though. She also can crawl up the stairs. We need to work on her going down them now. A few more things... Nora has figured out how to clap her hands, put her hand up when she
doesn't know where something is and she loves to scream!

Almost to the barns where the Farm Babies reside. It was a long walk....

Got milk?

Daddy, smell my diaper! Something stinks. Did you rip one or was in the cow?
Cluck Cluck Cluck
Daddy, do I need to touch the chick?
OOOH you are sexy

Nice goat

Mama Moose

That.... MONKEY

The flamingos are sleeping

Ooooh la la
I thought this was a family zoo...
The
fishy's---Nora liked them. She tried to lick the glass to kiss them.

My future is so bright I need to have 2 pairs of shades!

Less than a week to go!
The most common way kids learn to go down stairs is to sit on the top one and bottom thump down to the next.
Its fun to watch them do it. But usually they don't start that until about 18 months. Until then, its gates at to top & bottom of the stairs.
&hearts to all of you.
